Last weekend I signed up for the 30-Day Green Smoothie Challenge from http://simplegreensmoothies.com/30-day-challenge. Co-founders of the site are Jadah & Jen – two mothers who are passionate about health, life, and creating delicious green smoothies. What I really loved about them is that they don’t view this as a diet, but rather a lifestyle!! True that – how can you not love them already?! This is the last smoothie of week 1!! I have REALLY been enjoying this challenge…if you are joining me, how do you feel?? I have noticed an increase in energy and my body just feels good. The smoothies I have tried so far have all been really tasty and satisfying – I have usually been drinking them for breakfast or lunch and they keep my quite full!!
I realized that I signed up mid challenge, so I only received four recipes to end this month – I used a few of those and selected the rest of the recipes for Week 2 on my own. I posted the Week 2 shopping list on my Facebook page – Fresh, Fit Life Facebook Page
Green Smoothie #7 : Almond Butter Cup
It’s my rest day today and this smoothie felt like a total HEALTHY indulgence!! OH MY GOODNESS – best one of the week!! Well, I’ve loved them all but this is simply delicious!! I will definitely be making this one again – felt like a naughty treat but was SO not!!

- 2 cups spinach
- 2 cups almond milk
- 2 bananas
- 3 Tbsp cacao powder
- 2 Tbsp almond butter
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
